The Monarch is situated on a gorgeous 4.5 acre lakeside property in beautiful Coldstream, BC. Our lot was the last in a mature, developed neighbourhood - allowing our residents to take advantage of amenities that are often unavailable in newer developments. Tucked away at the end of a quiet street, The Monarch is surrounded by nature with beautiful mature landscaping and a creek running along the back side, and across the street from the striking teal waters of world-renowned Lake Kalamalka.

Lake Kalamalka
From The Monarch to the waters of Kal Lake is less than 200m - and that's the walking distance. The larger, public beach is at the end of the street - less than 10 minutes by foot - which features a fishing pier and kayak rentals. The boat launch is also a short 2 minute drive from your front door, for those who like to spend their summers on the lake instead of on the beach.
Hiking and Trails
If you're a biker or a hiker, the 50+km Okanagan Rail Trail is within walking distance of The Monarch. For the more adventurous hikers, the Vernon/Coldstream area has over a dozen world-class trails with incredible lookouts. And for the biking enthusiasts, Silver Star Ski Resort doubles as a Mountain Bike resort during the warmer seasons.
Wine
Okanagan wineries are known across the world for producing some of the best wines. The Scenic Sip wine trail is a short 20 minute drive south of The Monarch, and features 8 wineries each with their own distinct wines, incredible views, and delicious cuisine. More of a cider or craft beer person? Vernon is home to some fantastic cideries and breweries as well.
